Description: 電子地圖搭配全球定位系統所組合的汽車導航模式，有越來越熱門的趨勢，藉全球24顆衛星做座標定位，配合GIS電子地圖即可得知汽車所在方位。透過廣播電台、行動電話GSM通訊系統，可提供各地路況即時資訊及目的地精確位置，使民眾選擇最快、最短路徑，減少堵車機率。
而目前由電子地圖搭配全球定位系統的地理定位產品約可分為汽車導航系統、行車追蹤器及記錄器等三種；而這些產品當中導航系統是為駕駛人設計的服務，使用者以接收器收到衛星訊號，再接上筆記型電腦或VCD播放螢幕，即可得知所在位置。-err
